Product Description
Mechlorethamine Injection is an alkylating formulation which is prescribed for treatment of prostate cancer. It is known to work by cross-linking two DNA strands and prevent their replication. Also known as chlormethine, it has molecular formula C5H11Cl2N with molar mass of 156.05 g/mol. This injection can be administered via intravenous or intrapericardial routes by trained nurse or physician. Considered as nitrogen mustard, Mechlorethamine Injection is synthetic agent which also shows antineoplastic & immunosuppressive properties. It has been studied that this chemical exerts its curative effects by binding to N7 nitrogen on guanine base of DNA.

Side Effects
Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, or weakness may occur. Nausea and vomiting can be severe. In some cases, your doctor may prescribe medication to prevent or relieve nausea and vomiting. Eating several small meals, not eating before treatment.
