Viraday Tablets

The Viraday Tablets we offer are used for the treatment of HIV infections in patients who are over 18 years old. The drug is used for a fixed dose combination treatment in patients who have previously received treatment with HIV medication and have shown positive response to all medications. The drug can be used for both mono and combination therapies. The drug aids in slowing down the replication rate of the HIV virus thus preventing it from spreading. This helps the immune system to recover and reduces the progression of the disease.

With three highly effective anti retroviral drugs including tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, efavirenz and  emtricitabine as constituents, Viraday tablets are capable of trrating RNA based viruses including HIV. The drugs work by inhibiting reverse transcriptase which is a viral specific enzyme. The tablets slow down the growth rate of HIV but is not capable of killing virus that has already been incorporated within CD4+ cells. Some of the more common side effects of Viraday are gastrointestinal upsets, fatigue, anorexia, rash, insomnia nightmares, anxiety, depressions, altered mood, sleeping problems and abnormal dreams. Lactic acidosis is a rare but much more severe side effect that results in increased levels of lactic acid within the blood due to liver damage that can cause renal failure, pancreatitis and liver failure.
