Busulfan Tablets are cancer drugs that are indicated to be used for chronic myelogenous leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloproliferative disorders. They comprise busulfan as active compound having molecular formula C6H14O6S2 with molar mass of 246.304 g/mol. These tablets have bioavailability of 60 to 80% with elimination half life of about 2.5 hours and excretion in urine. They are used as an adjunct therapy with cyclophosphamide assuring high effectiveness. Busulfan Tablets are non specific alkylating antineoplastic agent that belongs to drug class of alkyl sulfonates.
